So u can check out some of my latest works on ilustration and photography. They're all very simple as i'm still an enthusiast when it comes down to design, but anyway i'll let u all see what's goin' on in my playground =). [Axis]
Well I guess the majority of u ppl who know me, are aware of my new project, my band , called "Axis'. It's formed by W.Wynner, R.Ordonez, M.Trivelli and me. We've recently recoded a demo in wich was released the first 3 songs of the band. Unforntunatly just 2 of this songs were realy included in this demo. besides that I guess we've been specially blessed and i'm very grateful to say we're already on the radio! Our song named by ' Pra que mais" has been played almost everyday at 98,9 Livre FM. I dunno exactly the program wich the station has included our song during the week but I know y'can hear it for sure in the Marcelo Nery's program, wich goes on air every saturday from 11:00 until 13:00hrs. I wanna thank a lot God, for my band mates. They 've been helping me to keep my faith alive and to believe in my dreams. I also wanna thank Marcelo for this real big chance he's giving us =) So i guess u're asking yourself what does this whole
thing has to do with design... well i made the cover of our demo soh u can see it here. I named our demo by O começo (Photography and illustrations by J.A.Monaco) We are also at Pure Volume You can visit our page there and hear our songs from this demo. We appreciate the support our friends are giving to us. Thank you.

Well recently I was introduced to this beautiful lady that besides being a rich and sweet spirit she's also a Designer ( it's funny how i can't keep myself distant from design hehehehe all my good friends are designers or musicians) and I guess I'm a big fan of her. She's fine, nice,cute, very talented so... an angel here on earth and I decided to kind pay a tribute to her as she's being such a great source of inspiration to me. This folowing Illustrations aren't enough to be a tribute , but so far it's all i can offer... i'm kinda dumbass when it comes down to vectorizing things... but i hope i can grow a little more from now till the next post wich the main content is my work..God bless you sweet Jay Pink.

[That Personal Portfolio Thang...]
It's been a while since the last time i talked about it here, or to everyone else but my partner/brother Guilherme Menga. As we had a sort of complication with Colortone this past few days I guess it will take a lil'bit longer to become real. But if u are interested about, u can check out one Screen Shot I was drawing one of these days. You can bet i sure will link it here as soon as it gets ready.

[New Colortone Issues coming up]
Many ppl ask me if Colortone is still running on. hey i'm pleased and grateful to say it acctually is and we're preparing new topics and a new concept for the site and will be also designing lot's of new material to a book we're trying to come out with. The new project consists in develop a print portfolio, a book wich will bring somethhing close to 22 themes and topics to be 'grafically discussed and exposed'.We're counting on some extra people to help us out with this project in the following way: In each one of the 22 themes, one person of our circle of friends will colaborate and have a job of their own printed along ours... so there will be at least 22 images composed by friends using the most assorted technics as possible. The first issue of the whole scheme received the title of Naturae , and was created to express one simple thought: Design is natural. So In this case we have the nature as the main inspiration and we're glad to say that a good friend of ours will be developing it with us: Elise Roese. As we haven't got the project completed, i'll show just two illustrations i made for it already. [1] , [2] . Stay tuned in Colortone... there will be a new version of the site on-line soon.(illustrations by J.A.Monaco)
